Type of Work: Social media marketing campaign
Client: Kalahari Resorts and Conventions
Target Audience: Women 35-50 and families in Wisconsin, Ohio, and Pennsylvania
Programs Used: Illustrator, Photoshop, Sprinklr
To celebrate National Waterpark Day, a coworker and I were tasked with creating a social media campaign to increase engagement, increase awareness of the Kalahari as the holiday's founder, and to inform the audience of the special activities.

Countdown Posts
To generate excitement about the holiday, we created a countdown on social media. We listed a fun fact each day that correlated with the number of days left that informs the audience of what the waterpark has to offer. I created a graphic to be used one the photos posted to create consistency and help establish the photos as a series.
This was a successful project, with an increased engagement of 234% compared to 2018's campaign.
Favorite Memory Contest
I always love the chance to hold contests and giveaways, and they tend to reach more people than the average post. We decided to promote National Waterpark day and the Kalahari by giving away an overnight stay. We asked followers to comment with their favorite memory, and the post had more than double of our usual engagement rate.
